Session 2: Installing light weight cladding including vinyl and metal (3.5 CPD Credits)

Vinyl Siding (Kaycan) Fasteners, optional furring, continuous exterior insulation, understanding thermal expansion and impact on attachment, starter strips, J trim, specialty pieces (inside corners, outside corners, vent strips), and integrating/transitioning to other cladding/trim.

Aluminum Siding and Panels (Longboard / AL13) Fasteners, mounting tracks, optional furring, continuous exterior insulation, understanding thermal expansion and impact on attachment, starter strips, custom flashings, trim, termination and corner details, specialty pieces, and integrating/transitioning to other cladding/trim.

Wood (Cedar, SPF, Horizontal and Board & Batten) Fasteners, optional furring, continuous exterior insulation, fasteners, finishes, and back priming.
